Key Responsibilities
Financial Administration & Vendor Coordination: Assist with vendor reconciliations, manage invoice verification workflows, capture purchase orders, and resolve payment queries in compliance with procurement policies.
Revenue & Data Analysis: Support junior revenue analysts in extracting, compiling, and analyzing broadcasting revenue streams, audience trends, and advertising data using statistical models.
General Ledger & Accounting Support: Assist assistant accountants in preparing journal entries, balancing trial balances, performing bank reconciliations, and supporting monthly management reporting.
Credit Control & Collections: Monitor debtor accounts, track outstanding payments, maintain customer credit records, and handle client account correspondence.
Audit & Compliance Preparation: Maintain organized audit trails, compile financial supporting schedules, and ensure alignment with Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) requirements.
