Key Responsibilities

• Be a South African citizen.

• Be between 18 and 28 years old.

• Reside within an Exxaro host community in Limpopo or Mpumalanga.

• Be living with a disability as defined under the Employment Equity Amendment Act (EEA).

• Be enrolled in a minimum three-year Degree or Diploma programme.

• Be studying within one of the approved fields of study.

• Be registered at a recognised and accredited South African tertiary institution.

• Be able to maintain the academic performance requirements outlined in the bursary agreement.

• Commit to attending classes and completing all academic requirements.

• Submit academic progress reports or transcripts each semester.

• Participate in bursary-related activities and development initiatives.

• Demonstrate good conduct and professionalism.

• Be willing to fulfil any work-back obligations, internships, or service commitments required by Exxaro after graduation.

• Inform the bursary office of any changes to studies, institution, or personal circumstances.

• Submit clear copies of required supporting documents: Certified copy of South African ID, Certified copy of Matric Certificate, Full academic record or tertiary transcripts on the institution’s letterhead, Medical letter confirming disability status, Proof of residence.
