The Office of the Chief Justice (OCJ) is seeking to employ unemployed youth for entry-level Data Capturer positions. Key Responsibilities
Capture data from available records into required formats such as databases, tables, and spreadsheets.
Verify missing data and identify errors during the data entry process.
Review and validate all captured data, submit entries, and perform regular data backups.
Maintain and secure records and files, ensuring they are properly sorted and stored.
Provide requested information to relevant departments and components.
Handle and respond to emails as required.
Report any IT-related problems to the supervisor immediately.
Assist in the fault diagnosis of CRT machines and report any issues encountered.
Log queries with the helpdesk for IT-related problems.
Capture Court rolls from Court lists and books, and preschedule cases.
Record Court proceedings accurately, including annotations for case types.
Search for postponed cases and update recording sessions accordingly.
Transfer Court recordings to the site server at specified intervals.
Save and scan documents as per instructions.
Ensure the safekeeping of all case records and Court documents while in possession.
Sort and distribute incoming data for equitable capturing.
Open files, file documents, and update registers and statistics.

Requirements
Applicants must be in possession of a Grade 12 certificate.
No prior experience is required.
A Diploma or Degree will be considered an advantage.
A valid driver’s license will serve as an added advantage.
