Key Accountabilities

• Conduct basic first line fault finding on plant equipment and systems.
• Carry out all tasks as allocated by the Foreman, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
• Perform regular plant inspections and accurately record logs to monitor operational parameters.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Work Management system for effective task planning and execution.
• Understand and adhere to the permit-to-work system to ensure safe work practices.
• Report all at-risk behaviors and unsafe conditions promptly to the Foreman and/or SHE representative.
• Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and approved work standards to maintain a secure working environment.
• Be prepared for call-outs when on standby, depending on critical plant requirements.
• Provide adequate and timely feedback to the supervisor on work progress and any issues encountered.
• Participate actively in risk assessments in accordance with legislation and company requirements to continuously improve safety protocols.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices within the plant area and adhere to waste disposal procedures.
• Work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
• Understand and apply knowledge of the business, its drivers, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Apply and maintain safety principles diligently in all working environments.
• Conduct IMS inspections to maintain and improve plant sustainability and operational integrity.
• Work effectively as part of a cohesive team, fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
• Play an appropriate and critical role during emergency situations to facilitate the swift and safe return of the plant to online status.
• Give and receive constructive feedback to other disciplines and partners on daily operational issues.
• Provide input at toolbox talks to enhance plant safety awareness and practices.
