CGI Technician Opportunity at Saota

SAOTA, a leading architectural visualization studio, is seeking a passionate and skilled CGI Technician to join its dynamic team. This role is perfect for individuals who excel at creating striking CGI content that breathes life into architectural designs, supporting a wide range of cutting-edge projects both locally and internationally. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with architectural production staff, generating high-quality diagrams, stills, panoramas, 360s, and videos. This position demands a keen eye for detail, strong creative problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to deliver top-tier visual content with minimal supervision. Proficiency in Twinmotion, the company's primary rendering platform, is essential for success in this role, offering a chance to push visual boundaries in architecture.

What You’ll Do

Office & Systems

• Maintain and continuously improve CGI office standards, procedures, and comprehensive documentation to ensure efficiency and consistency.
• Contribute actively to BIM systems, with a specific focus on optimising CGI workflows, implementing rigorous quality control measures, and developing effective training content.
• Grow and meticulously manage the CGI content library, including materials and 3D assets, ensuring it is current and easily accessible.

Team Collaboration

• Work effectively within a collaborative team environment to deliver outstanding architectural visualizations that meet and exceed client expectations.
• Manage complex CGI project files through all design phases, ensuring proper version control and organisation.
• Actively participate in project reviews and ensure that all deadlines are met across multiple concurrent projects.

Creative Production

• Create impactful 3D views for internal presentations and crucial client meetings, effectively communicating design concepts.
• Skillfully apply and style materials, lighting, and furniture within CGI software to achieve realistic and aesthetically pleasing visuals.
• Execute precise post-production edits using industry-standard tools like Photoshop and DaVinci Resolve to enhance visual quality.
• Take initiative to contribute new ideas and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and creative output within the team.
