Woolworths Financial Services is inviting high-performing graduates from the class of 2025 and 2026 to apply for the prestigious Graduate Program Analyst: Advanced Analytics based in Cape Town, Western Cape. Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed portfolio strategy tracking and quantitative data analysis to optimize credit risk and customer acquisition strategies.
Execute accurate forecasting and produce monthly Management Information (MI) reports for key executive stakeholders.
Leverage advanced tools and programming languages, including SAS and SQL, for complex data extraction, statistical modelling, and customer segmentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional analytics teams on strategic projects focusing on Acquisition Risk, Existing Customer Management (ECM), Impairment, Collections, and Fraud Strategy.
Provide continuous analytical support to senior analysts within the Credit Risk Office and Customer Analytics divisions.
Maintain and strictly adhere to internal data governance, compliance, and quality assurance frameworks across all analytical deliverables.
Interpret complex customer datasets into actionable commercial insights across the entire credit product lifecycle.

Requirements
Must hold a completed or soon-to-be-completed University Degree (undergraduate or postgraduate) in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Analytics, Actuarial Science, Business, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Finance.
Recent university graduate within the last 12 months or graduating in the current academic year.
Strong foundational knowledge of or exposure to data querying and analysis tools (e.g., SQL, SAS, Python, or R).
Innate curiosity and passion for understanding data, with strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with strong analytical reasoning.
Demonstrated ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
