Nedbank is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Systems Administrator. You will also monitor system activity trends, work with senior colleagues on future system enhancements, and ensure system access is provided within mandate. Health checks and the execution of implementation plans for new or upgraded systems will also be part of your responsibilities. Problem-solving using MIS information will be a key aspect of the role.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in Nedbank Culture building initiatives.
Participate and support corporate social responsibility initiatives for the achievement of business strategy.
Identify opportunities to improve or enhance processes by identifying and recommending improvements to tools, policies, and procedures.
Ensure all standards are observed and procedures are carried out in a timely manner by managing systems software configurations.
Deliver agreed expense budget by managing overtime spend, attendance, leave schedules, claims, recoveries, telephony expenses, and data card usage.
Stay abreast of legislation and industry changes impacting the role.
Understand and embrace the Nedbank Vision and Values.
Ensure own contribution and participation contributes to the achievement of team goals.
Create and manage own career through guidance and support.
Improve personal capability and stay abreast of developments in the field of expertise.

Provide 1st level support and occasional 2nd level support and troubleshooting against guidelines.
Manage and action customer requests/calls through building and enhancing client relationships.

Ensure team completes work to plan by providing office administrative support.
Monitor the trends of systems activity by working with senior colleagues to agree policies for future system enhancements.
Comply with policies and standards by providing system access within mandate.
Conduct health checks as per documented procedures and agreed timelines.
Execute on implementation plans for new/upgraded/enhancements as required.
Solve work issues and problems by acting on MIS information.
