Job Description
Jumbo Clothing Co., a well-established clothing retail company in the Eastern Cape, is offering an 18-month Workplace Experience Programme for TVET/FET graduates who hold an N6 Certificate in Business Management, Human Resources, Information Technology, or Marketing.
This structured in-service training programme is designed to help TVET graduates complete their National Diploma by fulfilling the required practical workplace hours β while gaining real, hands-on experience inside a busy clothing retail and apparel environment. Participants will rotate through multiple departments, develop career-ready skills, and explore diverse career paths across retail, HR, IT, and marketing.
This opportunity is ideal for motivated, unemployed TVET graduates who are ready to turn their N6 qualification into a full National Diploma and kick-start a rewarding career in South Africa's retail and apparel industry.
Please note: HR, IT, and Marketing N6 graduates will be placed at the East London office specifically.
Key Responsibilities
Rotate through departments including IT, HR, Marketing, and Business Operations to gain broad organisational exposure
Assist with day-to-day departmental tasks including data management, employee engagement activities, marketing campaigns, and business analysis support
Contribute to ongoing projects and provide fresh perspectives to team members
Participate actively in training sessions to build industry-specific knowledge and skills
Engage with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to develop service delivery and client relationship management skills
Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and document learnings from each rotation
Salary: R3,500 β R5,000 per month (Salary not specified by employer β estimated based on South African TVET in-service training stipend market rates, 2025/2026)
Requirements
N6 Certificate in Business Management, Human Resources, Information Technology, or Marketing from a recognised TVET / FET College
South African citizen
No criminal record
Unemployed and available to commit to the full 18-month programme
