Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the accurate binning of incoming merchandise and the timely replenishment of inventory from bulk to pick locations, adhering strictly to standard operating procedures and company requirements.
• Allocate new products with appropriate bin location numbers within the designated warehouse areas, maintaining an organized and efficient storage system.
• Update bin locations and report any stock allocated to new bin locations to superiors for system updates, ensuring inventory accuracy.
• Assist actively in replenishment functions to maintain optimal stock levels in picking areas.
• Verify that all incoming goods are received and checked thoroughly according to company standards, minimizing discrepancies.
• Ensure the timely picking of customer and branch orders to meet critical order cut-off times, contributing to efficient dispatch.
• Execute picking from bulk locations only when stock is depleted in primary picking areas or for bulk orders, preventing unnecessary breakage of pack sizes.
• Carry out all reasonable and lawful instructions related to work as directed by superiors, demonstrating adaptability and a strong work ethic.
• Follow all relevant procedures to enhance efficient customer satisfaction, focusing on accuracy and speed in order fulfillment.
• Assist in comprehensive stock take procedures, contributing to accurate inventory counts.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping on a daily basis, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Perform double checks on orders to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and prevent inventory loss.
• Consistently achieve set standard operational targets, contributing to overall warehouse productivity.
• Issue scanners to all operators daily, ensuring proper equipment distribution.
• Accurately book out scanners using the electronic application.
• Receive scanners back from operators, meticulously inspect them for any damage, and book them back into stock on the electronic application.
• Report any damage to scanners immediately to the supervisor.
• Complete the daily scanner issue spreadsheet, maintaining detailed records.
