Key Accountabilities
- Generate engineering drawings in strict accordance with Sasol specifications and established standards.
- Plan, schedule, and organize output effectively based on priority to meet project deadlines and operational needs.
- Update existing drawings and built data accurately to reflect current plant configurations and modifications.
- Recreate existing engineering drawings within relevant approved systems, ensuring consistency and accessibility.
- Verify technical discrepancies in documentation, collaborating with relevant teams to resolve issues.
- Optimise and utilise complimentary technology and software tools to enhance data management and drawing processes.
- Locate relevant information efficiently across all document management systems.
- Handle competency measurement related to engineering data and documentation.
- Ensure that red-lined information is accurately captured on updated documents.
- Report on draughting activities, providing clear and concise updates on progress and challenges.
- Implement and adhere to draughting strategies and best practices.
- Apply governance rules as applicable for specific engineering disciplines.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all captured information, maintaining high data quality standards.
- Adhere to and assist with auditing of quality assurance methodology.
- Adhere to all safety standards and procedures, promoting a safe working environment.
- Manage and audit critical controls related to engineering data.
- Ensure PSM (Process Safety Management) compliance in all data handling activities.
- Ensure Task Risk Assessment and Pre-job Risk Assessment (SAS) are conducted.
- Ensure all legal compliances are adhered to, including statutory compliance per area.
- Ensure action plans are in place to meet SHE Performance: RCR KPI.
- Foster a safety culture by setting a positive example and maintaining good housekeeping.
- Maintain practical knowledge and understanding of discipline engineering principles.
- Ensure in-depth knowledge of policies, procedures, specifications, and the legal framework relevant to engineering data.
- Ensure in-depth knowledge of applicable engineering technologies.
