Job Description
This Dispatch & Receiving Intern opportunity is designed for an ambitious individual eager to gain practical experience within a dynamic logistics and supply chain environment. Key Responsibilities
Perform daily operations within the Dispatch and Receiving department.
Ensure timely dispatch and receipt of assets, meeting agreed-upon turnaround times.
Verify dispatched and received assets against the Picking List to maintain inventory accuracy.
Ensure all inventory items are correctly barcoded.
Complete asset check lists and facilitate the handover of picked assets to clients during gear checks.
Identify and log all received gear against the picking list.
Confirm that all gear dispatched is in good working condition.
Ensure accurate completion and sign-off of picking lists and other relevant documentation post-gear check.
Assist with loading gear into vehicles as and when required.
Verify that received gear is in good working order and that dispatched kits are complete as per dispatch check sheets.
Obtain client or client representative sign-off on all return documents upon dispatch and return of gear and equipment.
Escalate issues concerning returned equipment to the appropriate departments and supervisors.
Notify supervisors of any damages, discrepancies, or missing equipment upon receipt of gear.
Follow established procedures for handling missing items and damages.
Assist with company-wide stock taking activities.

Requirements
National Senior Certificate - Essential
National Diploma / N6 Qualification in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a similar field - Essential
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Intermediate English language proficiency
Demonstrated accuracy & attention to detail
Commitment to continuous learning
Adaptability in a dynamic work environment
Ability to participate effectively in a team
Must be a South African citizen
Must be under the age of 35
