Job Description
Safety SA is offering a learnership opportunity for an organized individual to join their Finance team as an Invoicing Clerk. This programme is designed to provide practical workplace experience in financial administration. You will be responsible for the accurate processing, tracking, and management of customer invoices, ensuring the company's financial records remain accurate.
Key Responsibilities:
Process customer invoices accurately and within agreed timelines.
Verify billing details including pricing, quantities, discounts, and VAT allocations.
Perform invoice reconciliations against forecasts.
Identify, investigate, and report any billing discrepancies.
Support month-end closing and reconciliation activities.
Work closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to resolve invoicing queries.
Salary: Market Related Learnership Stipend
Job Type: Learnership (12 Months)
Location: Midrand, Gauteng
Requirements
Education: Must have a valid Grade 12 (Matric) Certificate.
Knowledge: Basic understanding of Accounting Principles.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/invoicing systems.
Attributes: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Advantageous: A tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting is an added advantage.
Advantageous: Previous exposure to invoicing, accounts receivable, or finance administration is a plus.
