As a Treasury & Systems Operations Graduate Intern, you will gain hands-on exposure to the full spectrum of corporate treasury operations — including treasury management system (TMS) support, deal capture, financial reporting, bank relationship management, and operational process improvement. This role is ideal for a BCom Finance, Financial Management, or Accounting graduate who wants to build a highly specialised, in-demand career in corporate treasury.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the implementation, configuration, and support of Treasury Management Systems (TMS)
Capture and process treasury deals, FX transactions, and money market instruments
Support daily bank reconciliations and treasury position reporting
Assist with system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and training documentation
Help prepare treasury reports and management information for clients
Provide operational support across treasury functions including payments, settlements, and confirmations
Assist with process mapping, documentation, and treasury system optimisation projects
Liaise with banks and counterparties on operational queries under supervision

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Financial Management, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
South African citizen
Currently unemployed
Strong analytical and numerical reasoning ability
High level of computer literacy — advanced Microsoft Excel skills advantageous
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills
Genuine interest in corporate treasury, financial systems, and banking operations
Ability to work independently and as part of a professional team
