Transnet TRIM Young Professional-in-Training Programme 2026 β Johannesburg & Parktown | 10 Positions | Multiple Disciplines
Job Description
Transnet Rail Infrastructure Manager (TRIM), a key division of Transnet SOC Ltd β South Africa's state-owned freight, rail, ports, and pipelines company β is inviting unemployed South African graduates to apply for its 2026 Young Professional-in-Training (YPIT) Programme, with 10 positions available across Johannesburg and Parktown, Gauteng.
This structured 24-month graduate development programme is specifically designed to bridge the gap between academic achievement and meaningful, career-level professional experience within South Africa's most critical rail infrastructure organisation. This is a genuine, long-term career-launching opportunity inside one of South Africa's most important state-owned enterprises. TRIM's investment in young talent reflects its commitment to building the next generation of professionals who will drive the transformation and modernisation of South Africa's national rail infrastructure.
Preference will be given to suitably qualified candidates from designated groups in line with TRIM's Employment Equity Plan and Targets.
Salary: R18,000 β R23,000 per month (Salary not specified by employer β estimated based on Transnet graduate development programme market rates, 2025/2026)
