Allan Gray is seeking a detail-oriented Test Analyst II to join their dynamic Retail IT & BI division. You will collaborate closely with QA Architects and Developers, taking ownership of testing activities across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Key Responsibilities
Take full ownership of testing activities within your team across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Participate in sprint planning, work with Business Analysts to define testable user stories, and collaborate with Developers to identify and resolve defects early.
Balance manual test execution with the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts to enhance test coverage.
Review merge requests, maintain comprehensive test packs, and ensure the health and currency of CI/CD pipelines.
Drive in-depth debugging and root cause analysis to prevent future defects in both production and in-sprint environments.

Requirements
A Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems is ideal.
Proven experience in API testing, Microservices architecture, and working knowledge of JavaScript or other scripting languages.
Ability to read and write SQL for database and report testing.

Strong analytical skills to break down complex problems into executable test artifacts.
