Technical Support Intern (Medical) - Stryker (Durban)

Stryker, a global leader in medical technologies, is looking for a Technical Support Intern to join their team in Durban. This role focuses on servicing and supporting clinical customers to ensure best-in-class specialist support during medical procedures. You will work closely with the sales team to coordinate training and events, ensuring Stryker delivers exceptional service to healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Support: Provide direct technical support for Stryker products during medical procedures.

Customer Service: Assist with day-to-day business support requirements to ensure customer satisfaction.

Training & Events: Collaborate with the local sales team to coordinate product training and educational events.

Problem Solving: Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to clinical staff.

Field Work: This is a field-based role, requiring travel to various hospitals/clinics in the region.

Salary: Market Related (Estimate: R10,000 – R15,000 p/m for Interns)

1. Education: A relevant Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in:

-Biomedical Engineering

-Clinical Technology

-Health Sciences (Nursing / Physiology)

-Marketing / Business (with a strong interest in MedTech)

2. Skills:

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

-Ability to work under pressure in a clinical environment.

-Technically minded with an aptitude for learning new systems.

3.Transport: Valid Driver’s Licence and own transport are essential (Field-based role).

4. Availability: Must be willing to work flexible hours as required by clinical needs.
