Procter & Gamble South Africa invites ambitious university students to apply for its Summer Internship 2027 programme. This immersive internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a leading global consumer goods company. Based at the Sandton, Johannesburg office, interns will take ownership of an individual business project, contributing directly to P&G's strategic objectives. This programme is designed to challenge and develop future leaders, providing exposure to various departments such as Brand Management, IT, Customer Business Development, Supply Chain Operations, Finance & Accounting, Analytics & Insights, Human Resources, Personal Health Care, and Marketing Strategy & Planning. Interns will collaborate with a diverse team of P&Gers, receiving significant responsibilities from day one and presenting their project outcomes to senior executives.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of an individual business project during the internship period (January 4th – February 12th, 2027) at the Sandton, Johannesburg office.
- Work within various departments including Brand Management, IT, Customer Business Development, Supply Chain Operations, Finance & Accounting, Analytics & Insights, Human Resources, Personal Health Care, and Marketing Strategy & Planning.
- Collaborate effectively with P&Gers from diverse backgrounds, nationalities, and markets, fostering a global perspective.
- Lead and deliver a live business project, receiving significant responsibilities from the outset.
- Present project outcomes and strategic recommendations to P&G senior executives during final presentations.
- Engage in a dynamic, respectful, and supportive work environment that values agility and work/life balance.
- Contribute to team objectives and participate in departmental initiatives, applying academic knowledge to real-world business challenges.

Requirements
- Current university student in penultimate year of study (graduating December 2027 onwards).

- South African Citizen, Permanent Resident, or South African Student Visa holder.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business & Management, Accounting, Business, Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing & Advertising, Transport, Logistics & Procurement, IT & Computer Science, Computer Science, Data Science, or Software Engineering.
- No prior experience required.
