Molenaar Industrial Technologies (MIT), a leading South African distributor of industrial coding and labelling solutions, is offering an exciting Sales Internship within their Videojet business unit one of the world's leading brands in industrial coding technology under the MIT umbrella.
Videojet powers the coding and labelling operations of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) manufacturers across Southern Africa helping brands print accurate batch codes, expiry dates, barcodes, and product identification onto packaging at high speed and scale. This technology is critical to food safety, compliance, and supply chain efficiency across some of South Africa's most prominent manufacturing operations.
As a Sales Intern, you will be on the front line of MIT's growth connecting with FMCG clients, demonstrating world-class coding and labelling equipment, and helping businesses solve their batch and date coding challenges. This is a fully hands-on, field-based role with comprehensive sales training, real client exposure from day one, and a direct pathway into permanent sales roles for high performers.
No prior sales experience is required MIT will train you. What they're looking for is attitude, drive, and hunger to learn.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and engage prospective clients across the FMCG and industrial manufacturing sectors
Showcase and demonstrate Videojet's range of industrial coding and labelling equipment to clients
Understand clients' batch and date coding needs and recommend appropriate Videojet solutions
Build and maintain strong client relationships to support long-term business development
Support the sales team with lead generation, follow-ups, and pipeline management
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and activities using CRM tools
Travel to client sites across your designated territory as required
Attend sales training sessions and continuously develop product and industry knowledge

Requirements
Grade 12 / Matric Certificate (minimum β business or technical background preferred)
Valid South African driver's licence (essential β this is a field-based, mobile role)
No prior sales experience required β MIT provides comprehensive sales training
Natural flair for sales, client engagement, and building relationships
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Problem-solving mindset β able to identify client challenges and present solutions
Computer literate β proficient in MS Word and Excel (basic CRM skills advantageous)
Willingness to travel nationally and occasionally work after business hours
