This 3-year programme is designed to provide the practical experience and technical training required to qualify as a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)). Trainees at Moore gain broad exposure to a wide variety of industries, ensuring a well-rounded foundation in auditing, accounting, taxation, and financial management.
Key Responsibilities
Audit Procedures: Assist in the planning and execution of statutory audits for a diverse client base.
Financial Accounting: Prepare financial statements in compliance with IFRS and IFRS for SMEs.
Taxation: Perform basic tax computations and ensure compliance with SARS requirements for clients.
Client Relations: Visit client premises to conduct fieldwork, gather evidence, and maintain professional relationships.
Competency Management: Maintain and update the SAICA Electronic Training Record (LTS) to track the achievement of required competencies.
Requirements
o be considered for the 2026 intake, applicants must meet the following:
Academic Qualifications: * Completed or currently in the final year of a SAICA-accredited BCom Accounting degree.
Must be intending to study towards or currently enrolled in a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA) / CTA.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Logistics: * A valid Driver’s License is mandatory.
Own reliable transport is essential as the role requires travel to various client sites across Gauteng.
