Mr Price Group is inviting final-year students to apply for its 2026 Workplace Experience Programme (WEP) in the Buying Homeware Stream based at their Head Office in.
The Buying Homeware Stream is designed for students who are passionate about home décor, interior design, and lifestyle product retail. You will be immersed in the world of retail buying at mrpHome one of South Africa's most loved homeware and lifestyle retail brands observing and participating in the process of how products are selected, designed, sourced, and bought to deliver outstanding value and style to South African homes.
Working directly alongside experienced mrpHome buyers, you will gain insight into supplier engagement, product selection strategy, trend research, and the commercial decision-making that drives a high-performance homeware retail business.

Requirements
Currently enrolled in final year (Year 3) of an undergraduate Degree or Diploma, OR currently completing Honours / Postgraduate studies
Qualifying fields of study: Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Retail Management, Product Design, Fashion, Business, Commerce, or related creative/commercial fields
Must be available for the full 3-week programme duration: 22 June – 10 July 2026
Passion for home décor, interior design, lifestyle trends, and retail
Creative mindset combined with commercial awareness
South African citizen or permanent resident
