MAHLE Behr South Africa is inviting applications for its Graduate in Training – IT Internship 2026. This 24-month programme is designed to help early-career graduates gain practical experience in a wide range of Information Technology tasks within a global automotive technology company. Interns will work alongside skilled IT professionals, receive coaching and training opportunities, and contribute to real-world IT support, troubleshooting, and systems maintenance.

MAHLE is a leading international development partner and supplier to the automotive industry, focusing on future mobility technologies and innovation. Through this internship, you’ll build a strong foundation in IT operations, cybersecurity support, programming assistance, analytics and more

Stipend / Salary (Market-Based Estimate)

While MAHLE does not publish official stipend figures, typical internships of this nature in Durban IT environments range approximately:

Minimum: R8,000 per month

Maximum: R12,000 per month (Range based on South African graduate IT internship market standards.)

1. SouthAfrican citizen (essential)
2. Degree in one of the following: B.Sc. Computer Science, B.Eng. Computer Engineering, BCom Informatics ,BIS (Bachelor of Information Science), Information Science or related IT qualification
3. 18 years or older (minimum age requirement)
4. Medically fit and able to participate fully in the programme
5. English as the mode of communication and learning
