Legal Services Internship Programme

The Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) is offering a 24-month Legal Services Internship Programme for passionate and motivated law graduates. This programme is designed to provide practical, hands-on experience in the legal and regulatory environment of South Africa’s private security industry.

As an intern, you will support the legal team in areas such as:

• Conducting legal research and analysis

• Drafting documents, memos, and reports

• Assisting with administrative tasks in legal proceedings

• Supporting prosecution and compliance processes

• Observing and participating in internal legal processes

This internship is ideal for law graduates seeking to develop professional legal skills in a structured, real-world environment. Interns will gain exposure to both regulatory and prosecution functions, enhancing their understanding of South Africa’s legal and security frameworks.
