Job Description
The Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) is offering a 24-month Legal Services Internship Programme for passionate and motivated law graduates. This programme is designed to provide practical, hands-on experience in the legal and regulatory environment of South Africa’s private security industry.
As an intern, you will support the legal team in areas such as:
Conducting legal research and analysis
Drafting documents, memos, and reports
Assisting with administrative tasks in legal proceedings
Supporting prosecution and compliance processes
Observing and participating in internal legal processes
This internship is ideal for law graduates seeking to develop professional legal skills in a structured, real-world environment. Interns will gain exposure to both regulatory and prosecution functions, enhancing their understanding of South Africa’s legal and security frameworks.

Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent qualification
