About the Job
Clicks Group is seeking dynamic and driven IT Diploma Graduates to join their cutting-edge team. This IT Support Internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in troubleshooting, system setup, and user support within the wholesale and retail trade industry. The ideal candidates are eager to learn, highly conscientious, solution-oriented collaborators who are eager to think outside the box and tackle complex challenges with creativity and innovation. This role offers exposure to Microsoft Windows OS, Office 365, Active Directory, basic networking concepts, and an introduction to Microsoft SCCM and Intune, alongside mentorship from experienced IT technicians.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with basic troubleshooting of desktop and laptop issues (hardware and software).
Support in installing and configuring new computers and peripherals.
Help with software updates, patching, and system maintenance under supervision.
Shadow senior technicians to learn diagnostics and problem resolution.
Document fixes and update the knowledge base for recurring issues.
Provide first-line support for user queries (in person, remotely, or via phone).
Assist in maintaining the hardware and software asset register.
Ensure compliance with IT security and health & safety standards.

Requirements
Completed 3-year Diploma in Information Technology/Similar
South African citizenship
Between 18 β 27 years old
Basic knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems.
Strong interest in pursuing a career in IT support.
Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
Problem-solving mindset and curiosity to learn.
