Key Responsibilities
The intern will support the PCU with the following tasks:
Programme Development: Support the development and implementation of Country Programmes in the East and Southern Africa region.
Monitoring & Oversight: Assist in monitoring regional programme implementation, including budget analysis and work plan revisions.
Knowledge Management: Prepare knowledge products such as best practices and lessons learned from UNFPA-supported interventions.
Coordination: Help organize capacity-building sessions and document outcomes for Regional Programme Review Committees.
Data Support: Assist in analyzing financial and programme performance using key indicators.

Requirements
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered, you must meet the following criteria:
Educational Status:
Be currently enrolled in a Postgraduate degree programme (Master's or higher) in a relevant field such as International Development, Public Health, Gender Studies, or Population and Development.
OR have recently graduated from such a programme (within the last 12 months).
Languages: Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required. Knowledge of French or another UN language is an asset.
Legal: Must have valid medical insurance for the entire duration of the internship.
