As an Inbound Business Development Representative (BDR) at impact.com, you will serve as the crucial first line of contact, responsible for generating new business through the qualification and nurturing of inbound opportunities. Your primary objective will be to help prospective clients understand the transformative value of impact.com’s three core SKUs (Performance, Creator, and Advocate) and how they can address their specific marketing challenges. This role provides an unparalleled learning environment, allowing for invaluable skill development through close collaboration across various critical business functions, including sales, demand generation, sales operations, and marketing operations. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, directly contributing to the company’s growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage proactively with inbound contact forms, web chats, and email inquiries to meticulously assess the qualification of prospects based on established criteria.
- Perform targeted outbound activities to engage with various types of marketing leads, initiating conversations and identifying potential business opportunities.
- Educate and thoroughly qualify prospects about impact.com’s transformative technology and the distinct advantages of its three SKUs in solving their marketing challenges.
- Work in close collaboration with Account Executives across all segments—both existing customers and new logo acquisition—to strategically build and nurture a robust pipeline for impact.com’s products.
- Collaborate closely with Demand Generation, Marketing Operations, and other relevant teams to streamline workflows and optimize the lead-to-opportunity process.
- Accurately track and manage prospects through Salesforce.com, leveraging advanced sales tools such as Outreach.io, Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Schedule high-impact appointments with qualified prospects for Account Executives, ensuring a seamless handover and maximizing conversion potential.
- Provide valuable market and product feedback to internal teams, contributing to the continuous refinement of impact.com’s business development strategy and product offerings.
- Maintain a deep and up-to-date understanding of impact.com’s product suite, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified leads and scheduled appointments.

Requirements
- Experience in any customer-facing service industry (retail, telesales, real-estate etc.).
- Excited by the prospect of getting an incredible amount of experience with all critical business functions - Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Client Services, Product, Technology and Finance.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed targets in a sales or customer-facing role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and persuasive demeanor.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach.io, Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo) is highly advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a pipeline effectively.
- A proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven attitude.
- Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
