SafetyCloud, a division of Safetysa, is offering an exceptional Human Resources Learnership opportunity based in Midrand, Gauteng. This role is designed for a dynamic individual to play a dual, high-impact role within the HR Department, working directly under the guidance of the HR Recruiter. The primary purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support in executing the company’s Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) compliance strategy. Simultaneously, the incumbent will assist the talent acquisition function with end-to-end recruitment support when required. Key Responsibilities
- Draft and post approved job advertisements across relevant platforms, ensuring compliance with company branding and legal requirements.
- Conduct initial CV screening and filter applications against specific Job Specifications to generate high-quality candidate shortlists for various roles.
- Coordinate, schedule, and confirm interview panels between shortlisted candidates, Hiring Managers, and the HR team, managing complex calendars efficiently.
- Maintain, update, and optimize candidate databases, internal recruitment trackers, and the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Initiate and follow up on candidate background verifications, including qualifications, credit, criminal checks, and professional reference tracking, adhering to strict confidentiality.
- Support candidate care and employer branding initiatives, ensuring a professional, communicative, and positive candidate journey from application to onboarding.
- Provide administrative support to the HR Recruiter on various projects and daily operations, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain HR documentation, including compliance files and meeting records, in line with data privacy standards and company policies.
- Assist with onboarding processes for new employees, ensuring a smooth and welcoming integration into the company culture.
- Support performance management administration, including tracking reviews and feedback cycles, and assisting with related documentation.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives and HR events, contributing to a positive workplace environment.
- Respond to general HR queries and escalate where required, acting as a first point of contact for employee concerns.
- Provide general administrative support across various HR projects and initiatives, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn.

Requirements
- Completed a Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
- 0 - 1 years of Human Resource related administration and services experience.
- Corporate and/or office environment experience would be advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Familiarity with social media platforms will be an advantage.
- Team player with a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management skills.
