Job Description
The Competition Commission of South Africa invites unemployed graduates to apply for its 2026 Graduate Programme. This structured programme is designed to provide practical workplace experience to young South African graduates while supporting the Commission’s mandate to promote and maintain competition in the economy.
Graduates will be placed across various divisions and will gain exposure to real-world regulatory, economic, legal, ICT, and administrative functions. The programme focuses on skills development, professional growth, and improving employability.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with day-to-day operational tasks within the assigned division
Conduct research, data analysis, and reporting where required
Support investigations, compliance, and monitoring activities
Participate in training, mentoring, and performance assessments
Adhere to organisational policies, ethics, and governance standards
Requirements
South African citizen
Unemployed graduate aged between 18 and 35
Completed a relevant National Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Postgraduate qualification

Law

Finance
Information Technology

Public Administration
Human Resources
Communications
No or limited prior work experience required
Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills
Willingness to commit to the full duration of the graduate programme
