General Worker – Processing Plant

Sea Harvest Corporation Ltd is recruiting General Workers for its seafood processing operations in the Western Cape. The successful candidates will support daily production activities within the plant environment, ensuring seafood products are processed, packed, and prepared according to strict food safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include assisting with sorting, cleaning, grading, packing, and labelling of seafood products. Employees will work as part of a production team to meet operational targets while maintaining hygiene, safety, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

The role requires working in a fast-paced, cold storage or factory environment where adherence to operational procedures and quality control measures is critical. Candidates must be prepared for shift work and physically demanding tasks.

• Minimum Grade 10 or Grade 12 qualification

• Previous experience in a factory, production, or food processing environment advantageous

• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods

• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work effectively within a team

• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices is beneficial
