Job Description
HomeChoice is seeking dynamic and customer-focused individuals to join their team as Flexi Sales Associates. This entry-level role is ideal for those with a passion for sales and customer service, offering a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a retail environment. The Sales Associate will be instrumental in creating an exceptional in-showroom customer experience, driving sales through effective product demonstration, understanding customer needs, and ensuring accurate order processing. This position supports the Store Supervisor and Showroom Manager in achieving key sales and service objectives, contributing to the overall success of the showroom.
Key Responsibilities
Engage proactively with customers on the showroom floor to identify needs and convert interactions into sales.
Deliver compelling product demonstrations, clearly articulating features, benefits, pricing, and current promotions.
Meet and exceed individual sales targets, conversion rates, and productivity expectations.
Assist with customer acquisition activities, including new account openings and efficient order processing.
Provide a consistently positive, professional, and customer-centric sales experience.
Guide customers through the entire sales journey, from product selection to payment and after-sales support.
Address and resolve basic customer queries, escalating more complex issues as needed.
Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including categories, pricing, and promotional offers.
Ensure all sales quotes and orders are accurate and align with company systems and catalogues.
Accurately capture customer orders, documentation, payments, refunds, and credits in a timely manner.
Maintain meticulous records and system entries to support reporting and audit requirements.
Support stock handling activities, including receiving, movement, and replenishment, ensuring product care.
Uphold high standards of showroom cleanliness, visual presentation, and merchandising.
Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, quality standards, and internal controls.
Participate actively in required training, inductions, and policy acknowledgements.
Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve collective showroom targets.
Support promotional activities, campaigns, and activations as directed.
Demonstrate flexibility to support operational requirements, including shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Requirements
Grade 12 / Matric (minimum requirement).
Minimum 1 years’ retail sales experience.
Customer-facing sales experience within a target-driven environment.
Availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Homewares retail experience (advantageous).
