Job Description
Cloud / Technical Sales Intern, you will work at the intersection of technology and business growth. You won't just be "selling"; you will be engaging with technical partners to envision, architect, and help develop cloud application solutions.
You will lead discussions with technical leaders to drive key implementation decisions, helping partners realize the economic and technical value of migrating to or optimizing on the cloud. This role offers a high degree of autonomy, allowing you to influence partner strategies and drive measurable business results through innovative cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Engagement: Work directly with cloud partners to design and architect application development solutions.
Value Engineering: Lead discussions on the technical and economic benefits of cloud solutions to drive adoption.
Strategic Support: Assist in developing solutions that create real business impact for clients and partners.
Collaboration: Partner with internal technical teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation of cloud architectures.
Stipend: R9,000 – R13,500 per month (Market Estimate: Based on current 2026 scales for technical consulting internships in Gauteng).
Requirements
To be eligible for this technical-commercial hybrid role, you must meet the following:
Education: A recently completed (within the last 12 months) National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in:
Information Technology / Computer Science
Business / Commerce
Communications (with a strong technical aptitude)
Skills: * Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Superior customer-service and presentation abilities.
Experience: While this is an entry-level role, practical sales experience or a background in technical customer-facing roles is highly preferred.
Citizenship: Must be an unemployed South African citizen.
