Motus Corporation, through its Renault Fourways dealership, is seeking a motivated and aspiring individual to join their team as an Apprentice Level One. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for repairing motor vehicles and a desire to become a qualified Motor Mechanic Technician. The successful candidate will undergo a comprehensive Apprentice Training Programme, potentially lasting up to three years, gaining hands-on experience and technical knowledge within a reputable automotive group.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist qualified Technicians with vehicle repairs and maintenance.

• Perform removal and replacement of vehicle parts and units under supervision.

• Safely jack up vehicles and position support trestles.

• Conduct lubrication and oil changes according to manual specifications.

• Remove and replace vehicle wheels.

• Fit and remove air and oil filters.

• Provide assistance across a range of vehicle repair tasks.

• Remove and fit batteries.

• Maintain cleanliness of parts and the workshop environment.

• Attend all prescribed technical and level-specific training courses.

• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management.

• Assist with general housekeeping duties to ensure an organised workspace.

• Keep tools and equipment clean and in good working order.

• Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness of overalls.

• Adhere strictly to all safety rules and regulations.
