Who Should Apply
This bursary is specifically for South African citizens who are Black African or Coloured students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Applicants must be currently in Matric or have completed Matric within the last two years. A minimum of 60% (Level 5) in Mathematics (excluding Mathematics Literacy or Technical Mathematics) in Grade 11 is required. Students must be studying or intend to study towards a B Com Accounting, Bachelor of Accounting, or equivalent qualification at one of the listed SAICA-accredited universities in 2027. A combined family income not exceeding R350,000 per annum is a key criterion, and applicants must have written or will write the National Benchmark Tests (NBT) before the closing date. Financial need will be assessed using the NSFAS financial means test.
