Who Should Apply
This scholarship is specifically designed for black South African citizens who are passionate about pursuing a career in the investment industry. Applicants must be entering their first or second year of study in 2027, with the exception of those pursuing Climate Studies, who may apply for postgraduate funding. Specific academic requirements include achieving an average of at least 70% in Mathematics and English (FAL or HL) and an overall average of 70% in Grade 12 mid-year examinations for first-year applicants. Current first-year students need an average of 65% or above in their latest examinations. Preference will be given to applicants from rural and township backgrounds, reflecting the Trust's commitment to inclusive development.

Requirements
Must be a South African citizen.
Applicants entering first year in 2027 must have achieved an average of at least 70% in mid-year Grade 12 examinations.
Minimum of 70% in Mathematics and 70% in English FAL or 60% in English HL for first-year applicants.
Scholarships are available for applicants entering their first or second year in 2027 (except for Climate Studies).
Applicants currently in their first year must have achieved an average of 65% and above in the latest examinations (mid-year / June).
Preference will be given to applicants from rural and township backgrounds.
Must be pursuing undergraduate or selected postgraduate degrees in Business, Commerce, Finance, Management Sciences/Studies, Computer Science, Data Science, Climate Studies, or Engineering.
Interviews will be conducted with shortlisted candidates.
