Who Should Apply
This bursary is open to female students who are South African nationals. Applicants must be 25 years old or older at the time of the application deadline. They must be officially enrolled to study towards a Certificate, Undergraduate, Graduate, or Post Doctorate qualification at selected accredited universities in South Africa. Studies must be in-person, and students must be enrolled full-time or part-time (with at least 2 courses per semester or term). Applicants must plan to graduate not more than 3 years after receiving the bursary and be enrolled for at least one more academic term after the award. A key criterion is the applicant's commitment to improving the lives of women and children in developing countries. Individuals related to staff members of the International Monetary Fund, World Bank Group, Inter-American Development Bank, or MMEG Board members are not eligible.

Requirements
Must be a South African national.
Must have a study permit for South Africa, if applying from an eligible country other than South Africa.
Must identify as a woman/female.
Must be 25 years old or older at the time of the application deadline.
Must be officially enrolled to study towards a Certificate, Undergraduate qualification, Graduate qualification or Post Doctorate studies.
Must be registered for in-person studies at one of the selected accredited Universities in South Africa.
Must be enrolled full time or part time (with at least 2 courses per semester or term).
Must aim to be fully enrolled for a complete academic term after receiving the bursary.
Must be enrolled for at least 1 more academic term after the award of the MMEG grant in December.
Must plan to graduate not more than 3 years after receiving the bursary.
Must NOT be related to any International Monetary Fund, World Bank Group, or Inter-American Development Bank staff member, spouse, retiree, or MMEG Board member.
