Who Should Apply
This bursary is specifically targeted at Black South African citizens, as defined by the BBBEE Act, who are entering their first year of undergraduate study in 2027. Applicants must demonstrate strong academic potential, having achieved a minimum of Level 5 for Mathematics in Grade 12. They should not be older than 21 years in their first year of study and must have applied for and received provisional admission to a full-time degree programme at a South African public traditional university. Requirements
Must be a Black South African citizen (as defined by the BBBEE Act).
Must have obtained a minimum of Level 5 for Mathematics in Grade 12.
Must not be older than 21 years in their first year of study.
