Who Should Apply
This bursary is specifically for first-year students registered at a South African university for a degree or diploma in Television, Radio, Broadcasting, or other media-related studies. Applicants must have achieved a minimum average of 65% for their National Senior Certificate (NSC) and demonstrate a need for financial assistance, not having any other form of funding, including NSFAS. South African citizenship is a prerequisite.

Requirements
Certified copy of South African Identity Document (not older than 3 months).
Statement of Results or National Senior Certificate (NSC) (not older than 3 months).
Official proof of acceptance/registration from a South African university for the 2026 academic year, clearly indicating your media-related field of study.
Most recent updated fee statement.
For each parent or guardian: Most recent payslip or affidavit to confirm unemployment, and bank statements for the latest three months.
Currently enrolled for a degree or diploma specifically within Television, Radio, Broadcasting and any other Media related studies.
Currently a 1st-year student and registered at a South African university.
A minimum average of 65% for your National Senior Certificate (NSC).
Students who do not have any other form of financial assistance, bursary or funding (including NSFAS).
