- Applicants must be South African citizens and must reside in KwaZulu-Natal.
- Candidates must either be currently in Matric or have already completed Matric.
- Applicants must be studying or intending to study in one of the eligible fields, including but not limited to Tourism, Film, Hospitality, Heritage, Arts, Culture, Marketing, Business Management, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, or related fields relevant to the tourism and film industries.
- They must also be registered, or intending to register, at a recognised and accredited public or private tertiary institution located in KwaZulu-Natal.
- Preference will be given to students living with disabilities and previously disadvantaged students.
- Required Supporting Documents:
- Certified copy of South African ID.
- Certified June Matric results if currently in Matric.
- Certified Matric certificate if Matric has already been completed.
- Certified full academic record or transcripts if currently studying.
- Proof of registration or acceptance from a tertiary institution in KwaZulu-Natal.
- Institution’s 2027 fee schedule on an official letterhead.
- Proof of parents’ or guardians’ household income (recent payslips, an employment letter, SASSA grant proof, pension slip or an affidavit if unemployed). Income documents should not be older than three months.
- Proof of disability, where applicable.
- Motivational letter explaining the chosen field of study and why the applicant should receive the bursary.
