Graduate PWD Administrative Assistant: Operations – PPECB

The PPECB, a world-class provider of quality certification and cold chain management services, is offering a unique Graduate Placement specifically for a Person with a Disability (PWD).

This role is designed to provide an unemployed graduate with hands-on, on-the-job exposure in the field of Operations Administration. You will join an organization with over 90 years of experience in enhancing the global competitiveness of South Africa's perishable product industries. This is a chance to gain foundational experience in system administration and general operations within a highly regulated, professional environment.

Key Objectives

• Administrative Training: Obtain comprehensive exposure to corporate administrative processes.

• System Administration: Gain practical experience in managing and navigating specialized operational systems.

• Operational Insight: Understand the workflows involved in the export control of perishable goods.

Minimum Requirements

To be eligible for this graduate intake, applicants must meet the following:

• Status: Must be a Person with a Disability (PWD).

• Education: A completed 3-year post-school Qualification in Operations Management or a related field (National Diploma or Degree).

• Experience: No prior experience is required, as the role is aimed at unemployed graduates.

• Technical Skills: * High level of Computer Literacy (MS Office Suite).

  • Being "tech-savvy" and able to adapt to new software quickly.

• Communication: Good English language proficiency (both written and verbal).

• Logistics: Must have own transport or the reliable means to get to and from the office at Cape Town Airport independently.

• Physical Capability: Ability to sit for long periods (with reasonable accommodation provided).
