Eskom Graduate in Training – Sunninghill | Procurement & Supply Chain | 20 Posts 2026

Eskom, South Africa's state-owned electricity utility and one of the largest power producers in the world, is recruiting 20 Graduate in Training (GIT) candidates to join its Corporate Procurement division within the Corporate and Supply Chain Management business unit at Megawatt Park, Sunninghill, Johannesburg.

This Graduate in Training programme is designed to develop young procurement professionals within one of South Africa's most strategically important organisations. As a GIT in Corporate Procurement, you will be placed within a structured, hands-on environment where you will learn and execute integrated sourcing and procurement processes for goods and services gaining direct exposure to supply chain management, contract management, tender adjudication, and supplier relationship management in a large, complex utility environment.

No prior work experience is required Eskom will provide all foundational training and mentorship throughout the programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute integrated sourcing and procurement processes, following prescribed procedures to fulfil low-value, low-risk procurement needs timeously and within budget

• Execute purchasing of goods and services and manage all related procurement administration

• Perform dual adjudication of tenders and manage contracts and purchase orders within Eskom's policies and standards

• Consult with supervisors to manage procurement problems and risks, making recommendations timeously

• Negotiate and coordinate the conclusion of agreements with suppliers to meet customer expectations

• Build and maintain healthy interpersonal and inter-team relationships across the procurement function

• Access, analyse, and interpret procurement information independently

• National Diploma or National N Diploma in one of the following fields, at NQF Level 6 with 240 credits:

  • Transport Management

  • Commerce

  • Logistics

  • Supply Chain Management

• No prior work experience required — Eskom provides full training

• South African citizen or permanent resident
