Key Responsibilities
Processing of orders using LOGIS and manual systems.
Verifying ICN numbers, quotations, and supporting documents to ensure correct order placement with suppliers.
Processing transactions in compliance with standard operating procedures, legislative requirements, and procurement policy.
Ensuring all requisitions adhere to procurement regulations and delegations of authority.
Confirming that specifications are clear and correctly linked to the appropriate ICN number.
Managing records, files, and documentation according to Department of Home Affairs (DHA) and National Treasury requirements.
Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all captured transactions.
Providing essential administrative support to the unit.
Reviewing and validating all supporting documentation, including requisitions, quotes, and approvals, before capturing LOGIS orders.
Authorizing LOGIS orders and providing procurement advice.
Ensuring accurate order placement with relevant suppliers by verifying quotation validity.
Rendering logistical services as required.

An undergraduate qualification at NQF 5 or Higher
